Since the start of this project I have written 7 letters to Alex Salmond, asking for a meeting. None got past his gatekeepers and I was sent to various, eventually unhelpful departments. A couple of weeks ago we were at the same event and I saw that he was ‘working the room’ towards me. He just stepped up and stood beside the group I was in. What does a Gallus Leader do in such a situation?!

The long and short of it is, that I have a meeting with The First Minister at Holyrood on September 25th 2013!

However that meeting goes and whatever comes from it, the impact of this arrangement has made things very busy at Gallus HQ. I am fired up and it has also motivated other organisations. More news soon.
