I met a man called Dave at a party, we were talking about the Gallus Games and he said – you know I saw a brilliant bit of bricklaying on Youtube. That got us wondering how it would look if there were Gallus Medals awarded to Trades people;  plumbers, bricklayers and electricians, it would also be an opportunity for people to try out the skill for themselves. I found this lovely bit of archive film about a very gallus bricklaying apprentice from the 1870’s. Are his methods still in use today?
