I wanted to visit the Olympic Park to see how the London games were going. After a lucky last minute search on the internet – I got tickets for ladies basketball! It was surprisingly exciting, with cheerleaders and dancers in the breaks – I would love to have something similar between our Gallus events – and we definitely need our own version of ‘kiss-cam’, although perhaps not Glasgow kiss-cam! I was delighted to see that our eco-stadium ideas were also in the London event. This photo is of the media building, which is made out of shipping containers, they had also used gabions filled with rocks to make seating areas.
